"Call to Connect" is a ministry for women in the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn, and has the endorsement of Archbishop Christopher Prowse:
“This is a time when it is important to allow the gifts of women to flower in the Church in new ways. That is why Call to Connect really has something to offer. It enables women across the Archdiocese to share their life of faith, to support each other and to pray together; and it is this experience which allows their gifts to flower for the good of the whole Church. I am happy to endorse Call to Connect, and I pray that the God of peace will bless its work in every way”.

Begun in late 2008, and under the auspices of St Benedict's Mission Centre based at Narrabundah ACT, "Call to Connect" provides opportunities in various settings for ministry to women.
It is a response to the expressed needs of women to come together across parish boundaries to network, socialise, pray, be ministered to and journey together.
It hopes to strengthen the sense of community between women from different places, and to enhance their contribution to parishes and the local Church. An important fruit of this outreach has been the participation of some women who are disengaged from the church but seeking to renew their faith.
We welcome contact from parishes & groups who would like to speak to us about how our ministry might contribute to their community or group.
Anne & Bronnie work as volunteers in the "Call to Connect" ministry.
So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything,
but only God, who makes things grow.
